Each year St. Mark’s, Richmond, fields a team, Saints for a Cure, for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation annual walk. This year due to COVID-19, the walk was a virtual one, but the Saints for a Cure still participated in the fundraising. The Saints for a Cure raised over $3,400 this year as part of the total $1.6 million that was raised in the Southern Texas Chapter. The funds raised continue to support research for the cure, prevention and better management of Type One diabetes.
