Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died Friday, September 18, 2020, surrounded by her family after her final battle with cancer. The second woman appointed to the nation’s highest court, Justice Ginsberg leaves a rich legacy as an advocate for equality, especially in the area of women’s rights. She served on the court for 27 years. A trailblazer prior to her appointment, she became an icon during her service on the court- often referred to as RBG. Justice Ginsberg worked to advance our country’s constitutional rights for as long as her health allowed, and now we pray that she rest in peace. Her legacy lives on.
