EDOT continues to celebrate love and equality during LGBTQ+ Pride Month and beyond! Throughout the month of June, many cities across our diocese gather to celebrate the resilience, acceptance, and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. See below for Pride events happening across the diocese!

AUSTIN

June 24: Pride Skate
Austin Pride takes over the Playland Skate Center on Monday June 24th from 7-10pm, for the PRIDE MONTH EDITION of Rainbow Skate!! Have a blast at this event geared towards the LGBTQIA+community!! Share the love and skate with a sweetie or just come and roll out with your friends.

June 26: Annual Stonewall Rally
Join Austin PRIDE for our Annual Stonewall Celebration & Rally on the South Steps of the Texas Capitol! This year marks the 54th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. We will pay tribute to the individuals that sparked the modern day gay rights movement in June 1969 at the Stonewall Inn and we will LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD! Share this event far and wide! We call on the entire Texas LGBTQ community and our Allies to join us!

June 20-23: Brazos Valley Pride Weekend
Join Pride Community Center for Brazos Valley Pride Weekend 2024, co-hosted by Brilliant Eye Care, celebrating diversity and inclusivity in the Brazos Valley community!

HOUSTON

June 22: Houston’s New Faces of Pride Festival and Parade
With promises to “present Pride like never before” Houston’s New Faces of Pride is looking forward to their inaugural celebrations. Featuring indoor and outdoor activities, the celebration will take over Fish Plaza at Wortham Theater Center. The parade will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Bagby St. at outbound Allen Parkway, and stretch 15 blocks downtown for all to come out and enjoy once the sun begins to set.

June 29: The 46th Annual Official Houston LGBT+ Pride Celebration: Festival & Parade
The 46th Annual Official Houston LGBT+ Pride Celebration: Festival & Parade will take place downtown at Houston City Hall, 901 Bagby Street, on Saturday, June 29, 2024, in Houston, TX. This is Houston’s Premiere Event of the Pride Season attended by hundreds of thousands of festival goers each Summer.

FORT WORTH

June 22: LGBTQ SAVES Youth Pride Picnic 2024
Youth Pride Picnic is meant for LGBTQ youth 24 and younger to enjoy a youth centered Pride event in the North Texas area during the month of June. Bring yourself, your family, and your chosen family to enjoy a picnic lunch at Trinity Park in Fort Worth.

TYLER

June 22: 2024 Rose City Pride
Tyler Area Gays (TAG), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight allies in East Texas, will host the 2024 Rose City Pride event. There will be vendors, live music, DJ, and live performances!

WACO

June 28: Waco Youth Pride Alliance Prom
