Bishop Doyle is forwarding his commitment to racial and social justice. He was recently selected to serve on the Mayor Sylvester Turner’s 45-member Task Force on Policing Reform He is also working with faith leaders on a Summit on Policing. Additionally, Bishop doyle is working with faith leaders, the Greater Houston Partnership and civic leaders to take a close look at our city’s needs in its most underserved areas. This group, too, is looking at the complex conversations taking place around policing and resources available within our city.
Yesterday, along with other faith leaders, Bishop Doyle participated in a town hall style conversation with Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo.
